Dance Moves ("the app") is a personal tool for tracking salsa, bachata, and other dance moves, practice logs, and video references. All data is stored locally on your device by default.
If you choose to connect Google Drive, your data is backed up to your own Google Drive account using the drive.appdata scope. The app can only read and write files it created — it cannot access any other files in your Drive.
Google Drive connection is optional. You can continue using the local-first app without signing in.
The app can embed YouTube videos and preserve a start and end time for personal practice. You are responsible for ensuring that the links and media you add comply with YouTube's Terms of Service and applicable copyright law.
The Share feature allows you to temporarily host a video on the app's backend server for the purpose of sharing a move with another user. By using this feature you confirm that:
Shared videos are automatically deleted after 14 days. The operator reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms. To request removal of content, contact info@gdrc.space.
The app collects anonymous usage analytics via PostHog EU (events like "move saved", "backup triggered") to help improve the product. No personally identifiable information is sent through analytics. See Privacy Policy for full details including GDPR rights.
This app is intended for users aged 16 and over. If you are under 16, please do not use this app without the consent of a parent or guardian. The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
The app is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. The developer is not liable for any data loss. Use the Google Drive backup feature to protect your data.
These terms may be updated over time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Italy, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
